Martha Wilson (1947) es artista feminista pionera del performance y es, además, galerista. Durante los pasados 40 años creó obra fotográfica y de video explorando su subjetividad a través de los juegos de rol, el disfraz y las «invasiones»de otras personas. Es fundadora de la Franklin Furnace Archive, Inc. enfocada en el arte interdisciplinario.
