Cuidados. ¿Qué importancia le damos a estas tareas que principalmente están delegadas a las mujeres? ¿Cuánto hay de placer y cuánto de mandato en estas tareas?

Sin duda el cuidar a alguien es un trabajo intensivo y extenuante, impide la autonomía económica de las mujeres y limita sus derechos. En esta entrevista quise hablar sobre ello con mi abuela quien, junto a su hermana, son las encargadas de cuidar a mi bisabuela.

Sofía Castillo. Nacida en Ecatepec estado de México. Estudió fotografía, museografía y restauración en la escuela nacional preparatoria de la UNAM. Participó en la exposición colectiva «A 80 años de la avenida 20 de Noviembre» con la intervención de una fotografía del acervo del MAF. Su práctica audiovisual y fotográfica se enfoca más en lo documental. Actualmente es estudiante de diseño gráfico en la UNAM.
